Luke Stevenson

I graduated from Edge Hill University in 2015 with a MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy [DMP] and moved into specialising working with children and young people (CYP).

In 2016 I was employed by PSS as a psychological therapist in the Seedlings service where I started my work CYP with the main client population from the Black and minority ethnic communities. It was as at this time that I started to reuse skill from my NVQ in Business management to support the service work more effectively with electronic systems to manage the waiting list and reporting stats.

My role in PSS was split in 2018 where I spent half my time continuing to work as a psychological therapist and the other half was as the data manager that managed the data systems for all of the psychosocial services, to do report procedures, worked alongside the agencies that provided the system and conducted staff training.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to focus my psychological practice towards adolescents and adult refugee and asylum seeker by moving over to PSS’s Spinning world and PC24 services, while maintaining my data manager role. In 2020 my roles spilt between my adolescent work moving to YPAS and my adult work coming to FRSP
